Whole Food Gut-Friendly Frittata

Guest recipe and blog by Ashlee with @simplholistic

Want a filling, nutrient dense, calorie packed breakfast?

I know, I know… “Whoa, Ashley…. Calories!?

Listen, I tell all my clients: The first rule of eating well and feeling your best is you have to stop undernourishing your body… That means you need to EAT!

Everyone I coach is instructed to eat breakfast within 30 minutes of waking. It’s the first and most crucial step to healing your sluggish metabolism.

No fasting, please please please… You need to fuel your body so it can perform at it’s best!

To help you start your day (and your metabolism) off right, here is one of my favorite, easy-to-make, super nutritious recipes – The Whole Food Gut-Friendly Frittata.

You can adjust the recipe as needed: Some days, you may be only cooking for yourself or your family… Other days, especially weekends, you may need something fast and easy to feed a few extra mouths.

The health secret to this wholesome recipe is the addition of Just Thrive Probiotic. I love Just Thrive Probiotic because it’s odorless and tasteless, so you can sneak it into any food or drink. It can even be baked up to 455 degrees!

If you’re like me and totally addicted to most of the Just Thrive line, you can also sprinkle in the IgG, Vitamin K2-7, Prebiotic and more! I love making this recipe, knowing I’m starting out the day giving my gut an extra boost of love! Hope you enjoy it too!

As with most frittatas, this recipe is pretty versatile. You can switch out ingredients and quantities to fit your preference. If you love extra veggies, add away!  Want more cheese, go for it!

Now onto the recipe…
